Granola

INGREDIENTS

3 cups oats
4 tbsp brown sugar pinch of salt
1⁄3 cup honey
1⁄4 cup vegetable oil 1 tbsp vanilla extract


DIRECTIONS

Preheat the oven to 325F. Mix the oats, sugar and salt in a bowl. In a small bowl whisk together the honey, oil and vanilla extract. Now add the wet ingredients to the oats and mix everything well using your hands. Spread thinly on a large baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.

Allow to cool completely before adding optional ingredients such as sliced almonds, mini chocolate chips or raisins. Store in air tight container.

Yields: 3 cups
